Huskers set to kick off season

The Valley Huskers are set to kickoff the 2024 campaign with their home opener at Exhibition Stadium on Saturday (July 27). 

Following a week-one bye to open the Canadian Football Junior League’s season, the Huskers are eager to get the ball rolling on the new season, according to head coach Bob Reist. 

“We’re excited to be hitting the field on Saturday for game day,” he said. “It’s been a good training camp but our guys are eager to suit up against an actual opponent.”
